Eligibility  
  • In order to get access to XactPAY Web®, your business must:
    •
  • Apply for a Workers' Compensation insurance policy from The Hartford's Payroll Alliances Center. If you meet The Hartford's underwriting guidelines and you accept our offer to provide coverage, a Workers' Compensation policy will be issued to you.
  • Use Intuit QuickBooks® Pro/Premier/Enterprise U.S. PC Versions 2006 or newer (does not work with QuickBooks Simple Start)
  • Be actively enrolled in Intuit QuickBooks® Basic, Standard, Enhanced, or Assisted Payroll subscription (does not work with QuickBooks Online Payroll)
  • Use Windows XP/Vista
  • Have Internet Access

What is XactPAY Web®?  

XactPAY Web® is The Hartford's online integrated Workers' Compensation payment service that calculates insurance premiums for a Hartford Workers' Compensation policy, which amount is then withdrawn directly from your bank account every time you run payroll through QuickBooks®.

The program offers a unique and hassle free approach to paying for Workers' Compensation insurance. Rather than paying for insurance up to a year in advance and tying up vital cash, premiums are paid as you go one payroll period at a time!

This is a program that you can't afford to miss and it's offered to QuickBooks® users at no charge by The Hartford, a leader in commercial business insurance.
How It Works  
  • Utilizing our innovative XactPAY Web® platform, we have created an access portal for QuickBooks® users with Hartford Workers' Compensation insurance policies to securely transmit payroll information for purposes of determining periodic premium.
  • You run your payrolls through QuickBooks®
  • Our XactPAY Upload Utility automatically uploads your payroll data
  • XactPAY Web® then calculates The Hartford's Workers' Compensation premium for that payroll period based on the payroll processed, and The Hartford then draws the premium payment from your bank account
  • If you elect, The Hartford will provide notice to you of the amount and timing of each expected withdrawal from your bank account.

XactPAY Web® is a special edition for QuickBooks users with (1) the 2006 or newer version of QuickBooks Pro/Premier/Enterprise U.S. PC (XactPay Web is not available to QuickBooks Simple Start users), and (2) a subscription for Intuit QuickBooks Basic, Standard, Enhanced, or Assisted Payroll (XactPay Web is not available to QuickBooks Online Payroll subscribers).
